Peking Opera started 200 years ago with travelling troupes playing to audiences in tea
houses all over China. In keeping with these teahouse origins, SLIPPERY MOUNTAIN
will be performed at Chinatown’s New World Restaurant in the heart of London’s
West End, just off Shaftesbury Avenue, with audiences seated at
tables of 4 or
more and served tea plus traditional dim sum (included in ticket price,
with
vegetarian option)
Doors open 45 minutes before the start of each show for those who come early to
chat and snack. A full meal menu is available for consumption during the show if
ordered more than 20 minutes before it starts.
